One fan is playing Battlefield 2042 early after pre-loading the game let them access it before launch.

We’re still almost a week away from the launch of Battlefield 2042 and one gamer is playing it already, thanks to the new pre-load.

It’s an exciting time to be a Battlefield fan. Not only did we just get new gameplay of the upcoming Battlefield Portal mode, but we’re only days away from 2042’s release date.

Maybe it’s worth trying your own pre-load to see if you can get in early too!

You can pre-load Battlefield 2042 now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Here’s when you’ll be able to pre-load Battlefield 2042 on PlayStation and PC!

Battlefield 2042 Pre-Load Gives Lets Fan Play Early

It seems that one fan is able to play Battlefield 2042 early after pre-loading the upcoming FPS title.

Over on the Battlefield 2042 subreddit, one user is causing a stir by leaking new images of the game. According to Aaronfrogger, simply pre-loading Battlefield 2042 was enough to give them early access.

The user is posting screenshots from Battlefield 2042, leaving little doubt that they really are playing the new title early.

And while they’re unable to head online for now, it’s currently possible to head into All Out Warfare against AI, it seems. Unfortunately, at this moment in time, the user isn’t spending a lot of time informing us on how the experience is.

The user should watch out, as leaking Battlefield 2042 gameplay can get you banned forever, according to EA!

However, it has to be said that the screenshots they’re posting do look fairly good for an Xbox One console. What’s more, Aaronfrogger describes the experience as being ‘really fun.’

UPDATE: The early gamer has now been kicked from playing, but not before they leaked the entire Battlefield 2042 weapon roster! And it appears there are only 4 assault rifles coming at launch…

Lately, we’ve been getting some disappointing news about the upcoming game, however.

After a trailer plagued with frame drops, we discovered that Battlefield 2042 won’t support 120FPS on next-gen consoles.

What’s more, although these Battlefield 2042 Portal Classes look like a blast from the past, it appears that the Portal mode is a bit more limited than we’d initially thought.
