Digital Foundry have scrutinised Grand Theft Auto 3 The Definitive Edition, revealing, perhaps surprisingly, the PS4 Pro version of the classic crime juggernaut is the only one that is able to hit a near-locked 60 FPS during the game’s Performance Mode.
As explained in the video below, DF recommends that users download the game on PS4 even if they own a PS5, and play it via backwards compatibility for the improved frame rate.
However, it does mean that you will be playing the game at a lower resolution than the PS5 release, as well as missing out on some of the more flashier visual upgrades.
