Is Halo Infinite available on PS5 or PS4?

In summary, Halo Infinite is not, and almost definitely never will be, available on PlayStation systems. There’s no way Microsoft will share the game with their biggest competition because it’s built by a Microsoft-owned firm and is one of their key exclusives. For Halo Infinite to come to the PS4 or PS5 in the near future, something significant in the gaming landscape would have to alter.

That being said, there are plenty of ways to play Halo Infinite, and you don’t even need to own an Xbox console.

How to Play Halo Infinite Multiplayer

While you can play on Xbox, whether you’re a Game Pass member or not (for the multiplayer at least), you can also play on PC.

You can then jump into the action and play alongside friends on PC and Xbox in the run up to the full game’s release on December 8. Don’t worry, though, your progress will carry over and you won’t have to buy anything else once that time comes.

If you head to the Xbox Store or Steam on your PC, you’ll find Halo Infinite there to download. Once again, you’ll be able to download it free of charge, without signing up to Game Pass of any other service. For once, a big AAA multiplayer release is entirely free to play, without it including a battle royale mode.

If Halo Infinite ever comes to PlayStation (believe us, it won’t) we’ll let you know. We don’t think you’ll need to come back to this page ever again, though.

Earlier, Xbox shared a few new details about Halo Infinite on PC. It’s nothing too special, but important to note if you’re planning on pushing 343 Industries’ new shooter to the limit with your rig. There’s going to be Razer Chroma RGB support alongside both FreeSync support and post-launch ray-tracing support – due to be added in a future update.

In addition to this, there’s going to be PC LAN support and advanced graphics settings like FOV sliders and framerate customisation. You can also triple-bind keys if you’re looking to be the ultimate Spartan. Full release date finally confirmed by Xbox
