OverBorder Group’s “punishing” action RPG, Thymesia, sees players take control of a half-human, half-raven creature that uses disease as a weapon, and it launches on Xbox Series X|S in 2022.
Yeah, Corvus might look like a Plague Doctor, but we’re pretty sure his intentions are a little more nefarious than curing people. Corvus’ mission is to regain his lost memories and save a dark kingdom along the way, by weaponising enemy diseases and partaking in “punishing” combat. Luckily, diseases won’t be hard to find because the enemies in question are corrupted by the plague, forcing them to mutate into monsters. You’ll need to learn how to dodge, parry, and correctly use your abilities if you want to overcome the game’s challenges and reach one of its different endings.

Team17 and OverBorder Group’s Thymesia hasn’t got a definite release date yet, only that it’ll be launching on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC in 2022.
