Due to “decreased stability”, the Battlefield 2042 revamp map has been pulled from PS4 and Xbox One rotation

The Battlefield 2042 3.2 title update, which was released today, appears to have had a severe impact on the game on various systems. Due to problems, DICE has pulled the Battlefield 2042 Renewal map from rotation for users on last-gen (PS4, Xbox One). The Renewal map was deleted due to “decreased stability” for PS4 and Xbox One players, according to the official Battlefield Direct Communications account on Twitter. When playing Renewal on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, we’ve noticed a drop in stability.

As a temporary measure, we’ve removed this map from rotations on affected platforms and will keep you updated on when we’re able to add it back in Hopefully, this is sorted as soon as possible, and can be fixed server-side so that no patch needs to be released for it. If you notice any other game-breaking bugs or issues that stemmed from today’s patch, leave a comment below to let us know, or send us an email (tips@mp1st.com). We’ll credit you if we do run it.
