Dune Awakening announced for Xbox Series X|S

Dune Awakening, and open-world survival MMO, has just been announced at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

We saw a brief announcement teaser trailer for Dune Awakening, an open-world survival MMO from Funcom set on Arrakis. Check it out below:

The teaser trailer was light on details, but we find out a little bit more about Dune Awakening over on Steam: “Rise from survival to dominance in a vast and seamless Arrakis shared by thousands of players. Dune: Awakening combines the grit and creativity of survival games with the social interactivity of large, persistent multiplayer games to create a unique and ambitious Open World Survival MMO.” We’ll be building shelters, taking care of our stillsuit, scavenging our way across the landscape, and much more.
