Disgaea 7 is officially coming to PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan early next year, Nippon Ichi Software has announced. There is currently no word on a western release.
According to the press blurb, Disgaea 7 takes place in a world inspired by Japanese culture known as the Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster. Here, the game’s heroes find themselves on a quest to regain their lost Bushido, with much of the cast designed by Takehito Harada.
Disgaea 7 will feature a number of the series’ signature content, including “replayability features” and “over-the-top battle systems.”

The protagonists, wandering samurai Fuji and otaku girl Piririka, will fight through the world in order to regain the impoverished Hinomoto from invaders and overthrow the Ooedo Shogunate.
On the game systems front, the series’ signature replayability features return, alongside even more over-the-top new systems. Please look forward to a completely new Disgaea experience!
Disgaea 7 is scheduled for release in Japan on January 26, 2023 for PS5, PS4 and Switch.
