Tower of Fantasy launches on PC and mobile in a few days, but the unfortunate news is that it is not coming to console for PS4, PS5, or Xbox.
The game looks fantastic and most people naturally compare it to Genshin Impact. The comparisons are understandable with its anime aesthetic and gacha system.
While Genshin Impact is a renowned marvel available on console, PC, and mobile, Hotta Studio’s sci-fi MMO is not on Sony systems for PlayStation gamers to enjoy.

Is Tower of Fantasy on PS4 and PS5?
Tower of Fantasy is not available on console for either PS4 or PS5.
The game launches on August 10th/11th for PC via web client, as well as mobile for iOS and Android. In addition to PlayStation, the game is also not on Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
It is free-to-play and below are its iOS and Android system requirements (via Pockettactics) if you plan to experience it on mobile devices:
Android:
- Minimum: Kirin 710/Snapdragon 660
- Recommended: Kirin 980/985/990/9000, Snapdragon 855/865/870/888, or Dimensity 800/1000
iOS:
- Minimum: iPhone 7

Will it come to console?
The game’s official Discord says there are currently no plans to release Tower of Fantasy on console.
This means the game is not guaranteed to join PS4, PS5, or Xbox anytime in the future. For the now, the developers are working very hard to optimise and perfect the experience for PC and mobile clients.
Although disappointing, the developers have at least left the door slightly open for a console release in the future. Their official FAQ document says they appreciate the support and will let fans know if anything ever changes.
