1. Do you want to play on PC?

• Which games exactly? CS:GO, PUPG, World of Warcraft, I might play a new game once a year (e.g. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is planned)
• Which resolution? Full HD (1920×1080) is enough for me
• Ultra/high/medium/low graphics settings? High ones would be fine. Ultra is nice but doesn’t have to be and after 2.3 years I’m completely fine even with a medium setting!
• Is 30 FPS enough for you or should it be 60 or even 144 FPS? 60-70 FPS suits me in the long term

2. Would you like to use the PC for image/music/video editing or CAD? As a hobby or are you a professional? What software will you use.

3. Do you have special requirements or wishes (overclocking, a particularly quiet PC, RGB lighting, …)?
1.2 fans with RGB lighting + RGB housing (if the money is still there, no 100% has to!)

4. How many and which monitors do you want to use? Number, model, resolution, refresh rate (Hertz)? Is FreeSync (AMD) or G-Sync (Nvidia) supported? (Please with a link to the manufacturer or price comparison!)
Currently only one (1920 x 1080), 144Hertz, 1-4 ms (Gaming Monitor – LG). A second is possibly still planned.

5. Do you still have an old PC, parts of which could be reused? (Please with links to the specifications from the manufacturer or price comparison!)

My setup:
1. In general, I have followed the advice here from the forum, only 2.3 questions remain for me… As already written above, I am the “casual gamer” and the PC is probably even too “good” for the games mentioned “? I have no idea whether I would be able to handle 1 game a year (with high requirements) with a system one number below that?! I’m definitely not one to play on ultra resolutions or extremely high FPS… if after 2 years my system only runs on medium settings it won’t kill me! (The Rgb lighting is also nice, but not a MUST!)

2. First idea was “Intel Core i3-12100F, 4C/8T, 3.30-4.30GHz, boxed” or one number higher “Intel Core i5-11400F, 6C/12T, 2.60-4.40GHz, boxed”. With number 2 I’m currently at around €154 and that’s why I decided on the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 at currently only €175 (€20 more isn’t really something).
My question regarding CPU and GPU is therefore: there is probably no real price/performance alternative to the Radeon RX 6600 in the range of up to €300 at the moment (I don’t spend more than that)? My actual pain limit of 200€ is definitely not there (you can read it in all forums/benchmarks)… I, as someone who has no real idea, wonder if an Intel Core i3 with a Radeon RX 6600 isn’t the wrong composition ? Therefore the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 is “same” as the i5-12400F only currently cheaper…

My core question is therefore more directed towards the “dullness”. At 700-800€ I will definitely not get anything new for the next 4-5 years (I generally never retrofit). If I can use the system below to play new games on medium settings for the next few years, I’ll be completely fine with it! Otherwise the i3-12100F might even be sufficient for the next two years (games mentioned above)?

The system mentioned below is generally open to criticism and was built from my (non-existent) theoretical knowledge ^^! If you see improvements (+/- 10-20€) – feedback is welcome. I like to learn, even if you say I3 is enough for you…
