@Jaz007 They didn’t, they said the smaller DLC additions would be free, and they have been. As far as I’m aware, the expansion(s) were always going to be paid, like they were for The Witcher 3.
The price point for the 2077 expansion will be interesting, though. TW3’s expansions were famously cheap.
