CD Projekt RED has made available Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and it seems that Sony’s Kraken compression tech has worked its magic yet again, as the patch is considerably smaller on PS5.
That’s at least according to users on Reddit who have already downloaded the update, which comes in at around 11GB on PS5 compared to 40GB for the Xbox Series X. That’s a whopping great difference and yet another testament to the wonders of compression tech for the Sony machine.

Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.6 adds a bunch of new content including outfits and weapons from the upcoming Cyberpunk anime.
Furthermore, it’s also the last update that will be made available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077. As such, the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC is only going to be released for new-gen consoles.
