Superhero romp Gotham Knights has received a new trailer courtesy of developer WB Games Montreal, this time focussing on the Batman family and the comic book inspirations behind its iconic characters.

Gotham Knights is pencilled in for release on October 21, 2022 for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game was originally planned to launch on PS4 and Xbox One too, but WB Games Montreal decided to scrap those editions to focus on new-gen consoles.
The superhero title plucks inspiration from the DC Comic series Batman: Gotham Knights, and focuses on Rightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood as they attempt to clean up Gotham City in wake of the Dark Knight’s apparent death.
While doing so, the team brush shoulders with the Court of Owls, a secret society dating back to the formation of Gotham, and their assassins known as Talons.
Gotham Knights sees the four aforementioned heroes fully playable, each boasting their own unique abilities and playstyle. WB Games Montreal has already said that its depiction of Gotham City here is the biggest to date in any Batman game, and players will be able to tackle missions cooperatively as well as solo.
