Destiny 2 Guardians will be looking for Xur again on September 9 as they await what fresh exotics and rolls will be available during week 3 of the Season of Plunder.
As usual, during 2022, the elusive merchant will return for only a short time, offering up an updated collection of loot.
Guardians are guaranteed to encounter a few regular weapons, but the rest will be randomised in a way that makes it impossible to know what will be available from Xur this weekend.

Where Is Xur In Destiny 2 Today?
Xur returns to Destiny 2 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST on Friday, September 9, 2022. Guardians cannot find him before this time as Bungie always removes the merchant during the weekly reset.
There is no telling what he will be offering over the coming days, but we do know that he will be available to visit until the weekly reset scheduled for Tuesday, September 13.
Finding his exact location will be the first challenge for Guardians hoping to check out his wares, with the hunt starting as soon as the allotted time arrives.
The good news is that Xur can only spawn in a few locations, including The Tower, The EDZ and Nessus. And when the latest gear is confirmed, we will make sure to add his location to the top of this article.
Last week, Xur was selling these exotics: Tractor Cannon Heavy Shotgun, Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon, Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic Scout Rifle, The Dragon’s Shadow Hunter Chest Armor, Lion Rampant Titan Leg Armor, and Contraverse Hold.
The lineup of Legendary weapons included these items: Chroma Rush Kinetic Auto Rifle,
Shattered Cipher Heavy Machine Gun, Cold Denial Kinetic Pulse Rifle, Royal Entry Heavy Rocket Launcher, Fractethyst Kinetic Shotgun, and Enigma’s Draw Kinetic Sidearm.
No further updates are expected to drop when Xur is around, with the latest patch arriving on Thursday, September 8, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
It should be noted that while Friday’s other big event – Trials of Osiris – is scheduled to return this month, this won’t be happening until September 16, meaning Xur will be riding solo until next week.
