The game “StrayPublisher”:Annapurna InteractiveDeveloper:BlueTwelveGenre”Action-AdventureTested for:PS5Available for:PS4, PS5USK:12Released in:8 / 2022.
A stray named orange cats, and his life is completely miserable as he falls into a strand of deep deep water. The four-legged friend is in a dilapidated future city that still seems abandoned. Soon you will discover the small drone B-12, which accompanies you now, shortly afterwards a slum in which a computer-punk rotten look is reflected in the human spirit. And yet there are more than ever human-like robots who would like to see the outside world.
Stray puts you into the role of four-legged friend; he then explores the environment from ground-level perspective, and climbs and jumps asynchronously. The developers have deliberately avoided focusing on skill: if you stray around, a symbol will appear on accessible edges or projections and a symbiosis will automatically and safely jump there at the push of a button sometimes turns out to be a bit tricky, but generally works well and avoids frustration with mistakes.
Because Strike puts more emphasis on adventure, only if it happens faster, often in the case where you should escape from the killer parasites, or in order to eventually get involved in the sluggish situation. Many of the environments are more linear in design and intelligently guide you along the given path. Freer exploration is a major topic of time in the district. It is visually vibrant and colorful to the eye of the people. There usually you’ll find a series of mini-missions called adventure, where you could accomodate local residents by the same amount of time as possible. In partnership, the drone can operate more complicated objects as well as communicate with other characters by a button. Occasionally, however, all kinds of animal specialties are sought, such as when a box is to be pushed off the shelf or damaged on a wall.
So Stray has put together a successful, but largely short package that successfully relies on the contrast between a realistically staged cat and the futuristic trappings. Shortly before the end of the issue, the date for the package version was announced, so it’ll be available at local stores for now.
I’ll share your opinion as well.
Ulrich Steppberger says: The finale leaves me a little melancholic, because I would love to have spent more time in the world of Stray and with its inhabitants. While the cat is the official star and does what it has to do (jumping, scratching, throwing stuff) impeccably, its companionship and robots are a huge part of the games’ appeal. The same applies to the graphics, which aren’t at all smooth at the moment, but are more in touch with the pyx and provide a logical, detailed picture, especially in urban environments. That jumping isn’t frustrating and that the puzzles aren’t complicated fits in well with an adventure feeling, while sneaking and escape passages require very hard work. If you want to challenge, you have probably got wrong with Stray. This game is a result of the atmosphere and the love of cats, but not too short (so a long length).
Animal adventure is especially the benefit of its atmosphere and attention to detail.
