When Does The Madden 23 Free Play Weekend End?
Even without offering crossplay, Madden 23 will still be worth a look for those hoping to try something new on consoles over the coming days.
The Madden 23 Free Play Weekend has already begun, and the official download for the trial can be found on the PlayStation and Xbox Stores today. And there are also no console platform restrictions either, meaning you can play it on last-gen or next-gen devices.
There are no limitations in place during the weekend, meaning you can play all the modes and content the game has to offer. However, we also know that Madden 23 will not stay free forever, with Electronic Arts confirming these dates and times for Xbox and PlayStation owners:
PS4 & PS5: Free trial runs from 12:01am PDT on September 8, 2022 through 11:59pm September 11, 2022.
Xbox One & Xbox Series X: Free trial runs from 12:01am PDT on September 8, 2022 through 12:10am PDT on September 12, 2022.
And while there will be plenty of people queuing up to play Madden 23 for free, it should be noted that other offers are also available this weekend.
If you own an Xbox console and have an Xbox Live or Game Pass subscription, you can also access Conan Exiles, Hunt: Showdown, and Riders Republic, at no extra charge over the same period as Madden. To download on console, click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and enter the Gold member area to locate the Free Play Days collection on your Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
