The company announced that Ubisoft and developer Nadeo will launch the free-to-play racing game Trackmania for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Luna in early 2023.
Trackmania released for PC on the first day of July 1.
All the new features announced during the presentation are amazing: Trackmania is now in full swing and comes with a cross-platform play and cross-progression capability to transfer their saves to new and old-generation consoles, as well as streaming platforms.
Trackmania will be free to play, and cannot require the purchase of in-game content, the company lacked of microtransactions. Nevertheless, there will be two top content access options for all players, which producer Augustin De Wit says will unlock more community content options through Trackmania Clubs.
There are new tracks that you can play by himself and in multiplayer mode against hundreds of opponents. New seasonal esports content is coming out every three months, so you can compete with other players with Course of the Day, Ranked Modes, and Solo or Team-Up Challenges. In addition to community participation and content creation, more than 280 tracks will be available to all on the first day of Trackmania.
