Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s second Chapter, A Huntress and the Hag, is now available for all players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for free, and the accompanying trailer sets the tone for what’s to come.
Chapters act as free seasonal content, and as such, there won’t be any additional Dying Light 2: Stay Human achievements to accompany this expansion, so we’ll need to wait until the first story DLC drops in October. Chapter 2: A Huntress and the Hag is now available for all players on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, adding a new Banshee variant, two new ranged weapons through new Bounties, and more.

Chapter 2 introduces us to Shen Xiu, AKA The Huntress, as the latest agent offering bounties to Pilgrims feeling up to the task of hunting down Villedor’s worst monsters. Shen Xiu is a ranged weaponry expert who represents a faction known, or little known, as the Hunters.
The Huntress is tracking a particularly nasty Banshee in Villedor known as the Hag, a variant with the ability to infect humans in her vicinity and turn them into Plaguebearers, which can only be located via your Survivor Sense. She’s nimble, fast, and deadly, so you’ll need to put in a bit of work if you hope to claim the rewards waiting for you at the end of this event.
Two new weapons are up for grabs: the Hunter’s Crossbow and Ballista Bow, along with fresh Bounties that are focused on the use of traps, ranged weapons, and your ability to dodge enemy attacks. Good luck.
“We wanted to present players with a challenge like none they have seen before,” said Techland’s product owner Paweł Płaza in a press release. “The Hag is meant to be an extraordinary foe, powerful enough to even bend the game’s rules – making the Day in the City as dangerous and tense as the Night. The hunt is on, and you’ll have to be constantly on your toes if you don’t want to end up as the prey.”
