Conan Exiles developer Funcom have today released a brand new video, showcasing the massive visual upgrade that the game received on the Xbox Series X console.
The new Conan Exiles video from Funcom showcases some of the technical and visual enhancements that have been made to Conan Exiles on the Xbox Series X|S consoles. Funcom state that they have made many improvements to the game and the side-by-side video certainly does a good job in highlighting these visual changes, which include increased frame rate, 4K resolution, improved textures, shadows, lighting, and view distance.
We’ve noticed that the game’s blurry look from the Xbox One is no longer present on the next-gen console, which is a sight to behold. Additionally, the volumetric lighting also looks much much better and the textures are also sharper and more detailed. It’s certainly a proper upgrade that players have been hoping to get.

This update should also be coming to PlayStation 5 very soon but at the time of writing, Funcom did not share additional details regarding the launch date. But, worry not, it’s certainly coming to Sony’s platform, too.
Conan Exiles is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The game also got introduced to Game Pass recently, so you can try it there before purchasing.
