Good news for all competitive Rainbow Six Siege players on Xbox, who are also navigating the DACH region! Ubisoft GSA, in collaboration with XBOX DACH, announces that they are jointly organizing a new esports tournament to search for Xbox tournaments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Which team can hold their own in Ubisoft’s Tactical FPS? As an incentive, there is a lucrative prize of €10,000, according to the organizers’ announcement of the new tournament.

This is how the new R6S Esports Championship on Xbox works
The top four teams from each of the four KO and BO1 qualifying tournaments earn a place in the final event, where 16 teams will compete against each other in a double elimination category. Until the semi-finals, the game is played in the BO1 system, while the semi-final matches are played in the BO3 system and the final is played in the BO5 system.

With Season 1, we have laid the foundation for sustainable development of the scene and our partnership with Xbox DACH. Season 2 is already planned, and during the gamescom 2021 cycle, it is still We and the Xbox community have one or two surprises in store — stay tuned.”
To ensure fairness during the event, console protection can be requested at any time during qualifying tournaments. This will be mandatory in every round of 16 match and throughout the final event. All teams participating in the final event must be checked out prior to the event.
Xbox tournaments will be streamed live on Twitch from Rainbow and XBOX DACH channels. Exciting broadcasts will be commented on and accompanied by leading actors and analysts from the local Rainbow Six scene. More information is available on the tournament website at aka.ms/R6XBOX.
