A Plague Tale: Requiem Xbox Game Pass – What We Know

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the next installment in Amicia and Hugo de Rune’s heartwrenching story, following the protagonist duo as they venture away from their home, ravaged by the Black Plague. If you’ve been keeping an eye on it since its announcement, chances are you might be wondering if it’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2022.

A Plague Tale: Requiem’s presence on PC Game Pass would remove the need to opt for a traditional purchase prior to seeing where Amicia and Hugo are headed next and what challenges they might encounter this time around.

If you’re already subscribed to Microsoft’s popular service or plan on trying it out for a month soon, we’ve got good news: A Plague Tale Requiem is confirmed as a day-one title on both PC and Xbox Game Pass.

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem Xbox/PC Game Pass status: Available at launch

This means that, as long as you have an active subscription on or after October 18, you’ll be able to play the title in its entirety.

The first entry in the series had its share of harrowing moments and did an excellent job depicting the duo’s strained relationship as they came to terms with Hugo’s powers and struggled to survive the Black Plague.

From what we’ve seen so far in the trailers, the sequel further builds upon the siblings’ bond while also bringing improved visuals to the table.

We’ll see how good of a job A Plague Tale: Requiem does continuing Asobo Studio’s series when it launches on October 18 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, as well as through Xbox and PC Game Pass.
