The cult hit Game Boy Advance titles Advance Wars titles are returning this holiday season on the Nintendo Switch.
If the announcement wasn’t already a big enough dose of nostalgia for you, we’ve now got our first look at the box art of this upcoming release. For most parts, it’s an accurate recreation of the first game’s GBA cover. Ah, the memories…
While the Switch box art draws inspiration from the past, developer WayForward has given the graphics an overhaul – moving away from the detailed pixel artwork in the original titles to updated character designs and 3D maps.
When Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp does arrive on December 3rd, it’ll also come packed with both campaigns (including Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising), and local and online multiplayer support.
What do you think of the Switch box art above? Will you be picking up a physical copy when the battle begins later this year? Fire off a comment down below.
