Allstars & League of Legends Lead Dev is Developing a New Game

One of League of Legends and Dota: Allstars star developers – Steve “Guinsoo” Feak has made his return to Twitter to announce that he has been working on a new project, a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) by Hidden Leaf Games called Fangs. Steve Feak is one of the biggest names in the MOBA industry and played a pivotal role in developing and ensuring the success of the genre through Dota: Allstars and League of Legends.

His latest work, Fangs is a MOBA game in which two teams of four players fight for victory by eliminating their rivals or fulfilling the game’s objectives.

What is the Hidden Leaf Games?

Hidden Leaf Games is an international studio led by veteran developers who have worked on big titles including League of Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, and many more. Fangs is Hidden Leaf Games’ free-to-play action MOBA which will notably have a diverse cast of heroes designed by one of the founders of the MOBA genre: Steve “Guinsoo” Feak.

If you are familiar with League of Legends, you will notice that Steve Feak was the developer who designed the item Guinsoo’s Rageblade. Notably, Dota: Allstars also has an item named after him: Guinsoo’s Scythe of Vyse.

Steve Feak reveals that he has been working on Fangs

On 20th September, Steve Feak posted on Twitter, “Finally got my Twitter account back! I’ve been having a great time working on @PlayFANGS, a fast-paced action MOBA. Give us a follow to join in on testing. We would love to hear your feedback 🙂

Along with the tweet, the developer posted a mock press release similar to the famous Michael Jordan press release, that humorously indicated that the expansion of Fangs was Fantasy Action Novelty ft. Guinsoo aka Steve. It further said, “The following statement was released today by Steve ‘Guinsoo’ Feak, through the staff at Hidden Leaf Games-now working on a new 4v4 competitive experience (“FANGS”)-located anywhere there’s an internet connection, in response to questions about his future career plans: ‘I’m back

Fangs announces closed alpha playtest

Fangs will be playable again very soon, announced Hidden Leaf Games. The alpha playtesting stage will run for nine days and in addition to the servers in North America and Europe, the studio will also be testing out a new server in South America.

The alpha playtest for Fangs will run between 5th October and 14th October, noted Hidden Leaf Games. Players looking forward to joining the alpha test will have to before 4th October 11.59 pm PDT to receive a game key.

However, Fangs is a title in early development and those participating in the testing will be the first ones to play and provide invaluable feedback to the developers.
