Among Us took the mobile, PC, and Switch markets by storm, offering players some cross-platform teamwork in this highly unique online party game. Among Us puts you and the other players in space, aboard a spaceship where you need to beware of an imposter. One of more of the other players in the crew can be imposters and are determined to sabotage the ship and murder everyone on board. The games sheer popularity has had many wondering when the Among Us PlayStation release date is going to be, well, it’s coming this year!
Among us went live on Xbox game pass at the end of 2020 and it has now been confirmed to be here for PlayStation at the end of 2021.
Among Us PlayStation Release Date
Unfortunately, there is still a bit of confusion around the release date, with a few Tweets going out last month stating the date could be the 31st of August. despite this, plenty of retailers in the UK and US show the release date for PS4 and PS5 as of December 31st, 2021. While the last day of the year seems a bit strange, it is the only date we have at this time.
PlayStation owners are going to need PS Plus to play online, which will support up to 15 online players.
