Among Us update: Good News! The massively popular multiplayer mobile game Among Us has released a new update for gamers. InnerSloth, the game developers, have improved the art style, added a new meeting screen along with new colours, bug fixes and improvements.

With the update, the players now have an option to change their chat in Settings and change their name in the Account menu. Apart from this, it has also brought in six new colours for player sprites, the BGR India reported. The company soon plans to increase the lobby size to 15 players, due to which it has now increased the size of its meeting screen.
According to the report, another added feature is the updated art style, which will affect both the front end and back end. General bug fixes include a fix for the “Pink Blobs” issue that was affecting some Android and Chromebook users showing users their crewmate sprites, which appeared as pink rectangles.
Other fixes include the addition of background for Create Game screen on the airship map, authentication issues during login for mobile and PC users, re-addition of ping counter and other small text or font issues. The developers have also fixed a bug showing up on the Nintendo Switch, which it allowed multiple users to log in to the same device. Support for Itch.io also added, the report said.
Apart from this, earlier this month the company had added Among Us’ fourth map and largest map, named Airship. The new Among Us Airship map includes more than a dozen rooms, new tasks, ladders and the chance to choose the room you start in.
According to the game developers, the minimum system requirements for mobile will be iOS 13 and Android 6. It will be available as a free update on Android and iOS. Also, ‘Among Us’ had become the most downloaded mobile game on both Android and iOS app stores in 2020, beating out games such as PUBG Mobile and Roblox. According to data released by Apptopia, ‘Among Us’ garnered 264 million downloads globally and 41 million in the US.
‘Among Us’, the online multi-player deduction game, in which spaceship crew members work together to complete tasks and root out imposters before they’re virtually killed, became a hit on Twitch.
