Apex Legends Mobile confirms its launch in May. Electronic Arts confirms that it will be this month when the free-to-play game debuts on iOS and Android mobile devices. The company offers the first details of this experience away from the current version of consoles and PC.
An Apex Legends designed for mobile
During the presentation attended by MeriStation, its developers anticipate that Apex Legends Mobile has elements “designed for the mobile ecosystem” that offer a different point of view compared to the shooter we all know. In addition to the launch of the battle royale mode and the qualifiers, we will see “exclusive modes” that have not yet been revealed.
At launch, we will have the roster of the 10 original legends: Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Pathfinder, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Caustic and Mirage. The Kings Canyon will be the map that will debut at launch, although it will be a “revamped” version with “exciting” twists that will surprise veterans. We’ll also see “new ways to play with our friends.” They will share more details as the launch approaches.
You can confirm your interest in trying it from day one by completing your pre-registration, although for now, it is only available in the Google Play Store. The final version will arrive on the App Store. As it was confirmed during its revelation, there will be no cross-play system with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch users; only the mobile community will be able to play with each other.
