Artec wins Sepanggar esports

Kota Kinabalu: Artec SE team emerged as the overall champion, beating 31 other teams, in the two-day PUBG Mobile Sepanggar 2020 tournament held for two days at Manggatal Community Hall here last weekend.Artec SE bagged home RM5,000 cash prize, while Delta ACMY, MRe Faora and Grims Reapers Outlaws took second, third and fourth place respectively. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) title goes to Suhaili Rosmin with 16 killing points and won a cash prize of RM500.
The tournament themed ‘Enhancing Sepanggar Youth Esport Community’ was organised by Sepanggar Umno Division to support the esports industry and promote this sport among the youth, especially in Sabah.

This is apart from providing a platform for Sabahan talents to excel in esport.
The tournament was officiated by Science, Technology and Innovation Minister and Karambunai Assemblyman Datuk Yakub Khan who supported the event.

The Organising Chairperson, Razeki Rashid, who is also Yakub’s Private Secretary said the esports ecosystem also includes various branches that help the country’s economic development such as organising, coaching and content creation which also helps the economy of the youth of today.
