Assassin’s Creed Mirage Parkour System Is Inspired By Assassin’s Creed Unity

The lead producer on Assassin’s Creed Mirage has revealed during an interview with Arab Hardware that the game will feature a parkour system inspired by Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Released in 2014 as the first Assassin’s Creed game exclusively for the then-new PS4 and Xbox One, Assassin’s Creed Unity takes place during the French Revolution and features one of the best parkour systems in the franchise to date — if not the best, period.

This is our absolute goal indeed, we are seriously trying to reach this level with Mirage, and since Baghdad is dense as I mentioned, we want the players to enjoy their time in the city through parkour, which was and still is one of the important pillars on which we based the gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Other returning features from past games including Assassination Contracts, which were a staple of the older games but were absent from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled for release in 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
