Assassin’s Creed Valhara is just right on the PC for those playing with the PS5 DualSense controller. This is because Ubisoft has patched the PC version to support its adaptation triggers.
As you may know, the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and tactile feedback are one of the great success stories of the PS5, and we’re certainly enthusiastic about the transformative nature of these new features from an immersive point of view. Use the DualSense controller on your PC.
Initially, PCs didn’t support the extravagant extras mentioned above, but in May, Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition received an adaptive trigger to fire a gun and a tactile-enabled patch to launch a shootout. I made it a more satisfying experience.
And now, Assassin’s Creed Valhara has done the same with the Stealth Update, as discovered by VGC. As with Metro Exodus, you need to cable the controller to get the benefits. If you aim at the bow in Valhalla, the trigger will stop halfway and you will need to pull further to actually fire. This is exactly how the arrow fires. Works on PS5.
This is the only advantage of the DualSense controller on both Valhalla consoles and PCs, but it’s still a very smart addition for PC gamers, suggesting that trigger and haptic support will soon be an additional title. (Now I’ve seen two games feature adaptive gauntlets for months, so to speak).
That said, the PS5 controller was first introduced to gamers on Steam in November 2020, so it took some time for this support to complete.

Port Storm?
There’s another reason PC gamers are excited about the synergies of PS5 and Windows 10 games these days. In short, Sony has acquired Nixxes Software, a developer specializing in PC ports.
This may suggest that more ports are in progress. Of course, Sony has already shown this. However, PC players have the right delay from the launch of the PlayStation and have to wait until the “right time” (of course).
Keep in mind that Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone may be ported from PS4, followed by Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
