We wrote yesterday about the less than demanding system requirements of Forza Horizon 5, and we’re pleased to say that Black 4 Blood will fall into a similar camp, needing only a GTX 970 and a Core i5 to run well.
Both the minimum and recommended specs are very reasonable, with a GTX 1050 being the lower end of the spectrum, and a GTX 970 being recommended. It’s not going to take up too much room on your drives either, clocking in at 40GB, although an SSD is suggested for an optimal experience.
MINIMUM:
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: i5-6600 (3.3 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4 GHz)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 1050 Ti or AMD® Radeon™ RX 570
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: 1080p / 60fps / Low Quality Settings
RECOMMENDED:
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 (2.8 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 7 1800X (3.6 GHz)
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce™ GTX 970 or AMD® Radeon™ RX 590
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: 1080p / 60fps / High Quality Settings
We tried the game out during the recent beta and found that it’s effectively Left 4 Dead 3 in all but name. It was fantastic fun though, and I’m pretty excited to get my hands on the full release. While it lacks some originality, its refreshed visuals are certainly welcome, although I would leave the new card deck system on the table personally.
The game is set to release on October 12th on Steam and the Epic Games Store, but you can start playing on October 7th if you pre-order.
