Bally Sports South to televise 71 Carolina Hurricanes games for 2022-23 NHL season South & Southeast News

RALEIGH Bally Sports South will televise 71 Carolina Hurricanes regular season games for the 2022-23 NHL season. The telecasts will be anchored by Hurricanes LIVE thirty minutes before and after every game.

The network will televise the Hurricanes’ season and home opener on Wednesday, Oct. 12, with the Hurricanes playing at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Coverage will begin at 6:00 p.m. ET with a special one-hour edition of the Hurricanes LIVE pregame show. The final game of the regular season schedule will be Thursday, April 13, with the Hurricanes playing at the Florida Panthers, coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Mike Maniscalco will return for his third season as play-by-play announcer alongside veteran analyst Tripp Tracy, who enters his 24th season calling Hurricanes games. New to the Bally Sports telecasts this season is Hanna Yates, who will serve as the host of Hurricanes LIVE and in-game reporter. Yates is joined on Hurricanes LIVE by analyst and former Hurricanes player Shane Willis, who returns for his 10th season.

Yates comes to Bally Sports from KSDK, the local NBC affiliate in St. Louis. She worked as a sports influencer and journalist for the news station since October, 2019. She previously co-hosted a show on KFNS 590 The Fan alongside former St. Louis Blues player Cam Janssen. She attended the University of Missouri where she earned her degree in Broadcast – Television Journalism with an emphasis in sports and a minor in business.
