Bam Adebayo ready to return after missing 22 games

Bam Adebayo averaged a career-best 18.7 points over the first 18 games of the season prior to suffering a thumb injury.

Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo is available to play against the Toronto Raptors tonight (7:30 ET, Leauge Pass) after missing the past 22 games with a thumb injury.

Adebayo underwent thumb surgery on Dec. 6 and was expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Prior to the injury, Adebayo was averaging a career-best 18.7 points along with 10.2 rebounds over his first 18 games of the season.

The Heat (27-16) have played well during his absence, posting a 14-8 record and rising to 3rd in the East standings.
