It’s another week for those waiting on an Xbox Series X/S restock – here are the retailers to watch from August 2-8.
We’re finally entering August and last month was a busy time for Xbox Series X/S restocks. Here’s hoping that this month keeps up with the recent trend, as stock becomes more available worldwide.
In the last week, we’ve had the Halo Infinite Tech Preview turning heads, and it’s certainly a return to form for the franchise.
Missed out on the action? Here’s how to be a part of the second, larger Halo Infinite Tech Preview that’s coming soon!
And Halo meets Portal in a new free Multiplayer shooter that’s blowing up right now too!
Thankfully, we hear that the Xbox Series X/S shortage is almost over, according to Microsoft.
Find all of last week’s Xbox Series X/S restocks here!
All Xbox Series X/S Restocks August 2-8
Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock
Best Buy Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: August 3-5 (Rumored)
Recently, Best Buy has been the place to go if you’re looking for an Xbox Series X/S. However, it’s been all quiet on the restock front for the last 2 weeks.
With that said, we’re almost certain that Best Buy will be dropping some Xbox Series X/S stock at the beginning of August. Usually, Best Buy restocks take place between Tuesday and Thursday so be sure to keep your ear to the ground.

Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock
Antonline Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: Early This Week (Rumored)
Lately, Antonline has only been restocking Xbox Series S consoles, which is causing a lot of disappointment for those after the more powerful Series X. However, the retailer occasionally has the Series X in stock too, and it’s still dropping every week.
Keep your eyes peeled in the first half of the week when it comes to Antonline. But it’s worth bearing in mind that Antonline always sells Xbox Series X/S restocks in bundles, meaning that you’ll be paying a higher price for the console.
However, it’s been known to be one of the easiest stores to buy from – and bundles can help stop scalpers from grabbing the Xbox first!

GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock
GameStop Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
It’s been 2 weeks since our last GameStop restock, despite the retailer’s success at obtaining PS5 stock. If you’re looking to take advantage of this week’s potential drop, however, you’ll need to sign up for a membership.
It seems that signing up for GameStop’s PowerUp Rewards Pro membership will net you a better chance at the Xbox restock if it goes live again this week. What’s more, it appears that Apple Pay is the best way to checkout your new Xbox Series X/S, with LordOfRestocks on Twitter dubbing the payment method “GameStop’s weakness”.
Never fear though, non-members often get their shot at upcoming drops too (though that wasn’t the case with last week’s PS5 restock). We recommend signing up for the service if GameStop announces an imminent restock for that extra chance at nabbing a device.

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock
Microsoft Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
After 3 weeks of consistent Xbox Series X/S restocks, Microsoft is proving itself to be an excellent stock dropper once again. This looks like a return to form for the publisher which is one of our favorite locations to find a next-gen console.
Buying an Xbox Series X/S from Microsoft itself guarantees a good price and quick shipping, but it’s surprisingly not always the most reliable restocker. Can the company maintain its good reputation as we head further into August?

Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock
Walmart Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
After 3 consecutive weeks of Xbox Series X/S restocks at Walmart, things are looking good for the major retailer. We’re hoping it’ll be able to continue with this kind of pattern as we head into August.
However, it’s looking like Walmart secretly restocking Xbox consoles in its U.S. stores instead. If you’ve got a local retailer, it may be worth stopping in to see if there’s an Xbox already in stock!
After all, Walmart is still waiting to ship some consoles from mid-July! So if you can get your Xbox in person, that’s definitely something you’ll want to take advantage of.

Target Xbox Series X/S Restock
Target Xbox Series X/S Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)
There’s great news for those looking to find their Xbox Series X/S at Target. After all, the retailer recently revealed that it’s making MAJOR changes to its Xbox Series X/S restocks.
In case you missed the news, Xbox consoles are no longer getting restock waves at Target stores. Instead, consoles will simply drop when they arrive in stock.
This is an excellent sign that shows we’re truly coming to the end of the Xbox shortage – but consoles are still suffering from heavy demand.

Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock
Amazon Xbox Series X/S Restock: This Week (Rumored)
It’s always hard to predict exactly when Amazon will go live with an Xbox restock. We last saw an Xbox Series X/S restock on Amazon Prime Day, and we’ve been waiting for another ever since.
However, Amazon did have a PS5 restock 2 weeks ago, which made us think we could be getting an Xbox Series X/S drop before the end of the month! There’s been no sign of it yet though, so we might be waiting a bit longer to hear more from the retailer.
Recently, one Amazon employee leaked thousands of extra consoles being ready to ship, so it’s not impossible that more Xbox Series X/S are in stock right now.
That’s all we know about the Xbox Series X/S restocks from August 2-8 right now, but be sure to stay tuned for updated information as it arrives.
It looks like Xbox is working on more narrative games than ever before, which is sure to excite story-loving gamers.
And with Phil Spencer announcing plans for future Xbox studio acquisitions, could another big studio takeover be on the horizon?
Bear in mind that if you’re a Windows 10 or Xbox One owner, you can reserve an Xbox Series X/S now!
