Binary Domain Director Wants To Remaster The Game For Current Consoles

Remember Binary Domain, the 2012 shooter from Yakuza developer Ryo Ga Gotoku Studio on PS3 and Xbox 360? Well, producer Daisuke Sato has said he’d like to remaster the game with some changes for current consoles.

Speaking with GameBlog, Sato-san was quizzed if it was possible to have Binary Domain released for the latest crop of hardware, and it’s something he’d not only like to do, but also make some changes to in the process.

Personally, I’d really like to (laughs). If possible, I’d like to make a few changes that I didn’t quite get to back then and maybe redo some parts, too.

Will it happen? Who knows, but it will obviously take more than just one man to make the decision. Hopefully SEGA will give it the green light at some point, although one possible stumbling block is that Binary Domain wasn’t a big success.
