Upcoming action role-playing game Biomutant has Hindi subtitles. Multiple IGN India readers reached out to us with screenshots from the game showing off Hindi as one of the subtitle options. While we aren’t playing the game ourselves right now, we checked with a couple of people who are and can confirm that Biomutant indeed has Hindi subtitles. This makes it the second game in recent memory to have this feature after the made-in-India indie title, Raji: An Ancient Epic — which incidentally is getting Hindi voiceovers too.
So @Biomutant have Hindi subs, this is interesting.@IGN_IN @RishiAlwani pic.twitter.com/3wdaNfzlM4

Impressions of the game have been doing the rounds on the Indian Gaming subreddit as well.
“It’s fun,” says one Redditor. “That’s the word. The game really wants you to have fun, don’t fight it. Everything is viable. The combat feels smooth. New weapons, enemy types and abilities keep things fresh. The dialogue is full of puns and campy humor but surprisingly hits the feels from time to time. The writing is so good that a particular quest helped me resolve a trauma that was troubling me for two months, will talk about it once the game is out.”

The same Redditor claims that the PC performance of the game is pretty good too stating that they are able to play it at 60fps at max settings with no noticeable frame drops on a laptop with an Intel Core i7 9th generation processor, 16GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB video card.
At the time of filing this story it is uncertain if the game would get a physical release at retail as the state of THQ Nordic’s India distribution is unknown. Recent games from the publisher have not made it into the country officially. We’ve reached out to THQ Nordic for comment and will update this story if we hear from the company.
Biomutant is out on May 25 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you have a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S you’ll be able to play it as well though developer Experiment 101 says native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are coming though no date has been given.
