Blasphemous is getting a deluxe release on Switch, PS4, Xbox One – Thumbsticks

Sold Out has announced that tough-as-nails platformer Blasphemous will receive a deluxe physical release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this summer.

The Game Kitchen’s acclaimed Metroidvania has become a cult favourite since its launch in 2019. Fans enjoy the game’s brutal action and exquisitely designed environments, as well as its considered use of Catholic and Spanish iconography.

The new physical deluxe edition will arrive on June 29 through a partnership between Team17 and specialist publisher Sold Out.

In addition to a physical copy of Blasphemous on disc or cart, the release features a wealth of goodies. Fans can look forward to a poster, some sticky stickers, a digital comic, a soundtrack, and a digital artbook. The ‘Alloy of Sin’ and ‘Golden Burden’ in-game character skins are also bundled.

Speaking about the release, Katie Clark, senior product manager at Sold Out, says:

“We’re thrilled to team up with Team17 once again to deliver this deluxe Blasphemous physical edition. Whether you’re already a fan of the game or want to jump into the nightmare world of Cvstodia for the first time, Blasphemous Deluxe Edition offers an exciting physical package for players to add to their collection.”
