Surviving the elements is no easy task out alone in the wilds. Surviving a dread disease apocalypse with limited resources would be even harder. Wondering what would happen if the world fell apart tomorrow? Would you survive?

‘Blight’ is a top-down single-player survival game with a focus on realism and providing players with a challenging yet enjoyable experience. The world in ‘Blight’ is ravaged by a deadly new disease called the ‘Blight.’ Players find themselves lost and alone with nothing after the ‘Blight’ completely wiped out their village.
The tremendous task of surviving the cruelty of mother nature now begins. The first step is to secure basic needs such as water, food, and shelter.
In the spirit of realism, water needs to be boiled to kill germs, chopping wood and collecting resources is a time-consuming process, and unlike most games, players do not magically possess the ability to carry a truckload of resources on their backs.

Sleep and rest are a key part of the game, after all, players do not wish to turn into zombified clones of the Russian sleep experiments! Wounds must be treated to prevent infection and death, and of course, there are plenty of animals roaming the wilds that would be happy to have a player-sized bite for breakfast.
Players must build their camp and constantly see to their needs to stay alive. Rumour has it that the Druids know more about the deadly ‘Blight,’ so players may find it worthwhile to take a little trip and see if they can find them.
‘Blight’ is still in development, and developers say that they plan to add a wide range of new features over time, including multiplayer, a more complex building system, and detailed character customization.
‘Blight’ is developed by ‘Original Studios’ and will release on Steam in 2022.
