Breath Of The Wild Rendered In 8K Is Bloody Gorgeous

We’ve been talking about the possibility of a Nintendo Switch Pro a lot recently and admittedly, the thought of 4K gaming featuring the likes of Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and Monster Hunter Rise is certainly an attractive one. The creator over at Digital Dreams on Youtube, it seems, thought beyond the prospective specs of the (likely) upcoming Switch model and considered this; what would Zelda: Breath of the Wild look like in 8K with stunning ray tracing? You can see for yourself below:

This gorgeous rendition of the beloved action-adventure title was created using CEMU, a closed-source Wii U video game console emulator. There’s no denying that this would be a phenomenal way to play an already astounding title, unfortunately for most of us, playing Breath of the Wild with these specs would likely cause a small fire on the inside of our PC cases. Still, it’s fun to watch these creations in action and seeing the potential in existing Nintendo titles is an exciting glimpse at the future of gaming, whether it’s via the Switch Pro model or generations to come.
