Bus Simulator 21: Update 2.13 Introduces Modding Support on PC

A new update for Bus Simulator 21 was launched recently that introduced two new features, including the modding support on PC via Mod.io. The other one adds a news feed in the game. You can expect new accessibility features and improvements as well.

Modding Support

Developer StillAlive Studios has made the modding kit for Bus Simulator 21 available to PC players. This kit gives you the power to create your own content, including maps, buses, skins, and decals. It is available for download on the Epic Games Store.

All of the modding integration in the game is being organized by Mod.io – a platform that specifically manages user-generated content and makes the process seamless and easy for everyone.

Whether you intend to create your own or use someone else’s mods, it is important to note that the game might crash on startup when you have some custom skins installed on your PC. This is due to the incompatibility of these skins with the new mod system. The developers are currently working on a solution to this problem.

In the meantime, you should remove them from the game completely. Here’s how to do it:

Right-click the game on Steam > Properties > Local Files > Browse. Head to the “BusSimulator21” folder, then find the folder named “Mods” and delete all of its contents.
