In what looks to be a yearly tradition now, it looks like this year’s Call of Duty game — Call of Duty: Vanguard — is already out before it’s official release on November 5! A now-deleted tweet has surfaced showing a COD Vanguard PS5 physical copy out in the wild, and it shows what players can expect from how the game will look if you purchase it from the store.
The now-deleted tweet comes from Call of Duty leaker TheMW2Ghost. The COD Vanguard logo is prominently displayed in the box art, complete with the white PS5 header up top. It also appears to be the Standard Edition copy of the game. Check out the image from the now-deleted tweet below.
The tweet also reads:
copies of #Vanguard are still out in the wild
This implies that there are more PS5 copies of COD Vanguard floating around elsewhere. Having said that, those who manage to snag an early code, you most likely won’t be able to play it given servers aren’t up yet. Also of note, MP1st got a tip that there is also a patch needed to play the campaign too, and this patch isn’t out yet.
For those who can’t snag an early physical copy of COD Vanguard, don’t fret, as the game is out this week on November 5 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S. and PC.
