Speaking on the Call of Duty: Warzone Nail Gun nerf, Raven Software notes that the SMG would “consistently dispatch foes at the same speed or faster than Shotguns at almost twice their effective range.” The firearm was incredibly OP, though many players didn’t encounter it due to the fact it isn’t easily accessible in-game.
Users were much more likely to run into the FARA 83 AR, which, thankfully, gets a slight recoil increase in the 1.39 CoD: Warzone patch. The C58 AR gets the same treatment, so be sure to adjust any saved loadouts accordingly. Need a couple of suggestions? The recent FN Scar 17 buff makes it a good candidate for a replacement Assualt Rifle. Anyone feeling adventurous might want to check out the all-new MG 82 LMG instead.
