With an expansion forCyberpunk 2077, a full-fledgedCyberpunksequel, a newWitchertrilogy, and two majorWitcherspinoffs, CD Projekt RED has many ambitions in the coming years (without mention setting up an entirely new studio in North America) – and hopefully its future games will avoid the pitfalls that resulted in this 2077sdisastrous launch back in 2020.
The developer, to its credit, appears to have taken steps to protect it. CD Project said that, as part of its new development strategy, it’ll test all of its future titles on any platform they are releasing for, not on anything else, the platform they are already testing for.
We try to improve gameplay across platforms from time to time. We don’t focus on developers PC, said the developer. Of course, this makes all of the creation stages some longer difficult, but it gives us more control and confidence at later stages.
The huge challenge that it faced in Cyberpunk’s development (the only one that had no shortage of people) was the fact that CD Projekt RED tested the game in the most major way that the game was on PC. According to all of us, the game’s new developer has seriously compromised and misled a developer.
Of course talk is expensive and everything is just a miracle, but the developer is excited and open for talks on how its planning to improve its pipeline to address major challenges.
