Cheaters Descend On Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Beta, Console Players Respond By Turning Off Cross-Play

The Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta is in full swing across console and PC, and unfortunately, it’s already been plagued by cheaters.

As a result, gamers on PlayStation and Xbox consoles have opted to disable the Cross-Play feature to avoid getting thrown into the battlefield with PC players, which traditionally is believed to have the most problems unscrupulous players.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened either. The betas for both Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call Of Duty Vanguard in 2021 and 2020 respectively were beset by cheaters, too.

With Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it’s been reported that cheaters are employing wall hacks to spot enemies before they would normally be able to do so, while aimbots are also out in force.
