Chrono Cross Remaster Does Not Feature The Original Game’s Soundtrack

Square Enix has clarified that the upcoming Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreams Edition will not feature the original game’s soundtrack.

It was originally believed that users would have a choice of switching between a revamped version of the score and the original edition, although this is not apparently the case. Instead, Chrono Cross Remaster will only feature the ‘refined’ version.

This was confirmed in an edit to the game’s announcement press release:

This article originally incorrectly stated that users can switch between the original and remastered soundtracks. Please note that this was in error and only the refined music can be played.
