A clued-up girlfriend has shared how she claims to have bagged a £450 PS5 for £120 – plus more goodies.
Katherine Chalmers took to TikTok to reveal how she “hit the jackpot” after putting in a bid in a blind auction.
Not only did Katherine get a PlayStation 5 as part of her haul, she also managed to get her hands on five bean bags, a mug, curtain poles, wool, a dog bed, a mirror, a soap dispenser and a bath caddy through the epic deal.
Revealing in her secrets in a TikTok clip, Katherine said: “We put a bid for a random pallet of ex-John Lewis goods.
“It’s a blind auction so we didn’t know what would be in the box.

“We paid £120 including delivery. This is pallet arrival day. This was a very exciting gloomy February day.”
Other social media users were left shocked as they said the deal seemed too good to be true, reports the Daily Star.
Some doubted Katherine was being truthful about the money-saving deal, as one wrote: “Just not true is it.”
However, the girlfriend explained to sceptical TikTok users that her and her boyfriend used the auction website BidSpotter to bag the deals.
Her two videos on the impressive hauls have so far racked up an impressive 174,000 likes.

Katherine has also share follow-up clip showing the “reality” of the auction – with her later saying they found out the PS5 wasn’t working.
She wrote: “They tested it, it stopped working. So it is broken. We will try to get it fixed.”
It seemed some people were still impressed with the pallet though, as one told her: “Omg how lucky.”

Katherine’s revelation come as ganers trying to buy a PS5 from Argos were left raging this week after being unable to get their hands on one of the highly sought-after consoles online.
Gamers claimed they were greeted with an error message after adding consoles to their baskets in the early hours of February 17, which read: “Sorry, we can’t find the page you are looking for.”
An Argos spokesperson told Daily Star: “It’s clear customers are excited for the new PlayStation.
“When we released a small amount of additional stock this morning we saw huge numbers of customers trying to place their orders with us and we sold out very quickly.
“We’re sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.”
