The release date and time countdown for when the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 early access campaign will come out for fans to play is only a few days away, and Activision has announced all of the CoD MW2 story mode rewards players will be able to unlock.
Activision’s upcoming remake is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, but you may be disappointed to hear that it’s following in the footsteps of Overwatch 2. Similar to OW2, a phone number is required to play CoD MW2, and it will need to be a postpaid device as prepaid and VOIP are not accepted.
It’s a requirement that is sure to annoy lots of the fanbase, but, despite the annoyance, almost everyone is still incredibly excited for early access to the campaign.

When does CoD MW2 campaign early access come out?
The release date and time countdown for when the CoD MW2 2022 campaign early access will come out to play is 10:00 PT, 13:00 ET, and 18:00 BST on October 20th.
All of the above Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 launch hours come courtesy of a message shared by ModernWarzone on Twitter. As for multiplayer, that doesn’t launch until October 28th.
Of course, when the EA comes out, you will not be able to enjoy any online gameplay until the full release. In addition to this sequel, fans also have the arrival of Warzone 2 to anticipate.
Activision’s second CoD Battle Royale launches on November 16th, and Infinity Ward has confirmed it will be a separate release and free-to-play.
How to play CoD MW2 campaign early
All you need to do to get and play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2022 campaign early access is pre-order a digital copy of either the cross-gen or Vault edition.
Simply pre-ordering any version of the game will allow you to experience the story mode a week prior to the launch of multiplayer. A launch trailer has been released, and many have praised its gorgeous visuals by gushing that it makes CoD MW2 look like a high-budget playable movie.
