Cuphead Is Finally Getting A Physical Release On Switch

It’s Cuphead‘s birthday – hooray! Although the hard-as-nails platformer only launched on the Nintendo Switch back in 2019, it initially released on Windows and Xbox One back on September 29th, 2017, making Cuphead five years old as of today. Mad!

To celebrate the milestone, developer and publisher Studio MDHR has announced that the game will be getting a physical release on Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and will be available in “retail stores everywhere”.

As a bonus, the physical release will also come packaged with the recently released DLC expansion Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, which is nice! We thought the expansion was a resounding success, awarding it a 9/10 in our review and calling it “a great little expansion that adds new life to one of the Switch’s most entertaining games”.
