This week marks the impending arrival of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero’s eagerly anticipated western release, making the Crossbell duology available to console players for the first time.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is available digitally for $39.99. Physical copies will cost $49.99 at stores, including Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. The physical copy is a deluxe version that includes the digital music from “Songs of the City-State” and the little art book from “Special Support Section Dossier.”
On September 27, The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero was made available via Steam for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game’s digital release is scheduled for midnight EDT on platforms and noon EDT on Steam. The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero will go on sale in Europe on September 30. The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero will debut on October 7 in Oceania.
Additional graphical improvements and quality-of-life upgrades not included in the PS4 version are in the Switch and PC editions. Peter “Durante” Thoman created the enhanced Switch and PC versions. The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai’s PS4 version is unchanged from its initial release. On the official Steam page, you can find additional information.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, the prequel, will be available in 2023 for the PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam. As of September 2022, the Trails series from Falcom had sold over seven million copies worldwide.
