CD Projekt has confirmed that those who purchased the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console, which includes Cyberpunk 2077’s first expansion, Phantom Liberty, will get a “reimbursement” as the DLC has now been cancelled on Xbox One.
Developer CD Projekt Red recently revealed Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, a new spy-thriller expansion for the action-RPG that sees Keanu Reeves reprise his role as Johnny Silverhand. It was also announced that the DLC would not be coming to previous-gen consoles, and this raised the eyebrows of many who had purchased the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X bundle, which, as per its Amazon description, promises “one full-game download of Cyberpunk 2077 and the first expansion” among other extras.

Now, CD Projekt has confirmed that “reimbursements” will be issued to those who purchased the limited edition console. “Owners of the Xbox One X – Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle will receive a reimbursement for the expansion in the form of Microsoft Store credits,” CD Projekt says. “Please stay tuned for more details about this procedure.”
Unfortunately, it’s not known when or how these reimbursements will be issued. It also hasn’t been disclosed just how much each person will receive. As soon as we find out more, we’ll update you.
CDPR also announced that Patch 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077 will be the game’s last major patch on Xbox One. The Phantom: Liberty DLC also looks to be Cyberpunk 2077’s first and last expansion.
