The financial report of Digital Bros, till December 31st, 2020, showed that Death Stranding for PC made £23.192 million last year.
Kojima Productions’ title was released more than a year ago, on PC, in July 2019.
The recently revealed amount earned by it doesn’t include the share of this year’s first quarter, but only till the end of 2020.
When compared to other games for PC, Death Stranding did perform brilliantly. Only Remedy’s Control came close to it, with an amount of 16 million euros.
Coming onto the Hideo Kojima’s title once again, it was initially launched for PlayStation 4. Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe published it.
It was great upon the release in overall sales, coming in on the second spot in UK boxed games chart. At that time, Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was dominating a lot. Despite that, Kojima’s game attracted a lot of buyers.
Currently, rumors are going on that might announce Hideo Kojima’s next project soon. And that it may become an Xbox exclusive, instead of PlayStation, upon its debut.
