Diablo 2 Resurrected has been out for about a week now, and as such its performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S has been scrutinised to see how it stacks up in its various settings – namely, Performance Mode and Quality Mode.
YouTube account VG Tech has put the remastered dungeon crawler through its paces, confirming the Diablo 2 Resurrection Performance Mode on PS5 features dynamic resolution that reaches highs of 2560×1440. On the flip side, this can drop to as low as 1706×960.
Meanwhile, the Diablo 2 Resurrected Quality Mode employs dynamic resolution that goes as high as 3840×2160 and as low as 2560×1440. In short, to have the game running at a smooth 60 FPS, it’s best to use Performance Mode, as Quality Mode will see the game drop to 30 FPS while bumping the resolution higher.
